What Should You Expect at a Sunday Gathering?

Well, you should expect to be welcomed into an environment where we will do everything we can to serve you as you make your way around! We realize it is a big step to connect with a church family and so we do all we can to be user-friendly. Currently we meet at the Somerset High School.

When you come in, you’ll see two A-Frame signs in the lobby directing you as follows:

To the left will be our NURSERY (0-35 months) and T.L.C. (The Little Children, ages 3-4) environments.

All of our children’s environments are staffed by screened volunteers who are serving because they value your children! Infants will receive loving care and support in our nursery. In T.L.C. your child will learn the basic stories of the Bible each year and likely come home with some cool craft to explain to you what they learned.

To the right in the gym will be our KidZone (K-5) environment
Your K-Fiver will learn about Jesus in a way that is real and relevant to their lives. Our KidZone environment uses a dynamic multi-media curriculum that you can check out here: www.kidmo.com

Straight ahead is an information table along with some coffee (it’s free, grab one).

Once you find what you need at the table, keep heading straight into the Multi-Purpose room where you will get seated. Read through the bulletin for a welcome letter from our lead pastor and other information you might be interested in.

During the gathering, we will:

SING TO GOD in a way that is relevant and engaging. We love to overflow with gratitude and joy for who God is and what He has done.

OPEN THE BIBLE and hear from God. Our teaching is rooted in the Bible and we believe that your life will be altered forever as you tune into God’s voice.

RESPOND TO GOD with communion, prayer ministry or perhaps a creative response based on the theme for that day.

We will guide you through the whole thing! No questions as to what to do when or feeling like you stepped onto another planet. We value communicating and doing ministry in a way that is CLEAR so you understand it and REAL in your experience. We’d love to have you!
