Kid’s Ministries

So you’re new to the Bridge and asking, “What do you have for kids?” Two things to consider as we start this discussion:

1) There are 52 Sunday’s a year that represent 52 hours that we have to invest in your child. Statistically on average, your child will be present for 40 out of those 52 hours.  That means we have 40 hours to invest in your child.  Want to venture a guess at how many you have?  3000.  Three thousand….We plead with you right now to own that you have primary and strategic influence in the lives of your children. Write this text on an sticky note and put it on your mirror right now:

Love God, your God, with your whole heart: love him with all that’s in you, love him with all you’ve got! Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night. Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder; inscribe them on the doorposts of your homes and on your city gates. Deuteronomy 6:5-9

The best thing you can do for your child right now is for you to be fully surrendered and committed to Jesus and your growth as a follower and secondly, to be fully committed to a local church.  If it’s the Bridge, plug into a missional community or small group Bible study of some sort. You’ve got to get it inside of you before it can get inside of your kids.

2) We love that we have 40-52 quality hours to come alongside you and help you lead your child toward full life development in Jesus.  We want to create highlight moments for your kids each week.  We have a dedicated, trained and screened volunteer staff who want to serve you as parents.  They are a gift to you and we trust you will value and appreciate them.  Each week while you are in the worship gathering, here are the three environments we have for your children:
