Prayer Month

January at the Bridge is a very special time of the year. Every new year, we are committed to seeking God and praying for all that the year behind is still unfolding and all that the year ahead will bring. We want to seek God’s face while asking that His will for the church would be done. In the pursuit of God through prayer, we have several opportunities to gather and pray all month long!

Please take the opportunity to look over the article from Desiring God on fasting and how you can engage your faith this new year by practicing this spiritual discipline.

As we approach Saturday Worship+Prayer in January, we want to invite you to consider fasting with many of us on that weekend. The guide will help you structure your fast and the attached prayer prompts and calendar will help you pray for the various activities the church is doing and will be doing in the next year. Of course we want you to add any heartfelt prayers of your own, please don’t feel limited to just the prayer list and calendar provided. Our fasting will start on Friday January 10th at 5pm and will conclude before Worship+Prayer on January 11th.

As well as fasting, we will have prayer stations around the church all month, and extra times that the church will be open for anyone to come and pray for the fellowship and the ministries that will take place in 2025. The prayer stations will also have ways that you can interact and seek

the Lord for yourself and others. Please consider taking advantage of these opportunities and let’s fill heaven with our prayers as we enter into 2025!
